My name is Allison Morrey and I'm happy to have the chance to participate in the Commerce Student's Society again, this time as the Executive of Events for the 2024/2025 year! I'm a 3rd year BCom and PAAS Certificate student with previous experience in the CSS as Director of Career Fair for two years.

The Events Portfolio is responsible for executing the large-scale events put on by the CSS, being the Greater Victoria Business Banquet and the Gustavson School of Business Conference. Our goal is to put on events that allow commerce students to attend professional events, network with local business professionals, and learn valuable skills.

This year, the Events portfolio is working towards increasing our community engagement and outreach for our large-scale events. Some of my personal goals are to provide learning opportunities to Directors and Co-Chairs, as well as to always have fun! I'm looking forward to planning amazing events with the dedicated and hardworking Events team, and can't wait for what these opportunities have to offer!
