The Gustavson School of Business Conference is an unforgettable weekend for core year students that many consider the highlight of the year. The conference will take place from March 14th-16th, 2025 in Nanaimo, BC and will be filled with friendly competition, insightful speakers, and lots of fun!

What is GSBC?
The Gustavson School of Business Conference is a fun weekend for core year students that many consider the highlight of the year.
The conference will take place from March 14th-16th, 2024 in Nanaimo, BC. Students will meet at UVic and travel together on coach buses to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Nanaimo.
Upon arrival students will enjoy lunch at a local pub where they will work with assigned teams to prepare for a lighthearted case competition in front of business professionals. This will give students a chance to network and to work with friends on an engaging and fun case. Following the case competition, students will have some free time to get ready for a dinner/party at a local Nanaimo nightclub with a drink ticket included.
The next morning a continental breakfast will be provided and students will attend an insightful speaker series with two exciting business professionals. Following the speaker series, lunch will be enjoyed at the same venue before heading back to the hotel to get ready for the Gusty Athletic Competition.
The Athletic Competition will include a number of stations from a slip and slide to capture the flag. There will be many prizes awarded for the Athletic Competition such as Lululemon belt bags, prizes from Supplement King, and more! Later in the evening attendees will get dressed up for a formal gala dinner at a nearby hotel where they will have a delicious meal and hear from a keynote speaker. This will then be followed by a private event at a local nightclub with two drinks included! Prizes and gift bags will be given out throughout the weekend along with sponsorships for RedBull and Yerba Mate.
